Brookhead Lodge is looking for 3 dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join their team and help provide high-quality care and support to residents.
You'll play an important role in supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting independence, maintaining dignity and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable and valued.
Pay & Hours
- Pay rate: £13.10 – £13.24 per hour
- Shift patterns: A mixture of:
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Vacancies: 3 Senior Care Assistants
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support care staff during shifts, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Complete and maintain accurate care plans, daily records.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns.
- Promote residents' independence, dignity, privacy and choice.
- Support new team members and provide guidance where required.
- Communicate effectively with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a care setting, ideally in a senior position.
- A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
- Confidence supporting and guiding care staff.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to providing person-centred care.
- A positive attitude and willingness to make a difference.
